Don’t Do It

I subscribe to a lot of things Gary Vee preaches. The first thing I ever heard him talk about was not doing things you hate and focus on your strengths.

I’ve always been really good at everything I’ve ever done. That’s not to brag but it is very true. But when I think about it there’s an obvious reason and that’s because I invested my time only into things I was good at. So of course I was going to excel.

People waste their time on things that everyone else is doing even when they know on their heart it’s not something they’re really invested in. But they feel like they need to be the same as everyone maybe due to the fear of doing something different and not succeeding.

To me it makes obvious sense – do what you love and you’ll most likely still face hardship BUT you’ll keep going and ultimately succeed.
